A skeletal figure sits in stillness, holding a small golden light. The body is stripped to its essential form, symbolizing what remains after identity, roles, and certainty have been released. What is left is only possibility. This piece honors the courage it takes to step into the unknown.
Choosing freedom over familiarity.
Letting go of what once held you, and trusting the small, glowing beginning. This piece took me over four years to create. I began it in 2022, and it has evolved alongside me, shifting, layering, and changing as I did. Each time I returned to the canvas, I was in a different chapter of my own becoming, allowing the work to absorb new questions, new courage, and new ways of seeing. What you see here is not just a single moment, but the accumulation of time, growth, and the slow unfolding of a new reality. I hope this work can continue to inspire creativity, especially for anyone standing at the edge of something new.
